Cool Things My Friends Are Doing.

So, inspired by Vicki I setup a sidebar area (over there ->) for all the cool things my friends are doing.

Now of course, this requires you to TELL me about all the cool things you are doing.

Not just when I ask and for heaven’s sake don’t let that humility thing get in the way… I want to know about your projects (Adam, James, Carol), your schemes (Tara), your performances (creampuff, deadrobot, venusvan, Ken are you reading this?), your exhibits (miss.carol, ryan)… and if you have family who are doing something cool, that counts too. (yes I’m talk to you deadrobot… isn’t your brother up to something?)

Call it shameless friends-promotion.  Cause lord knows I make you listen to all my schemes, projects and adventures… hey I even rope you in to work on them.

So, if you are reading this and you have something cool going on, please please please tell me about it.  Then I can brag and share about all the cool things you are doing too!

    Can I boast here? Coooool!
I am currently starting second level Improv comedy classes at Bad Dog Theatre (www.baddogtheatre.com) up on the Danforth. I’m enjoying it very much and it is helping me with my small bladder control problem.
My brother, you say? I think he’s got a little play on or something at a run down theatre called The Royal Alex. Seems most of the critics thought “The Innocent Eye Test” was “ok”. I thought it was just above “ok” (Im not a fan of farce but I got what he was trying to say). But I’m biased, I guess. He has a public play reading of his next play, “Generous” at the Tarragon soon. As does his daughter, Emma, with her contribution to the Paprika Youth Theatre program there. Feh. Actors. So self centred.
And finally, my mom might be dating a retired man living in the Barbados.

Yes, this is the place to boast!! I love this insider info!
Are you doing regular performances w/ Bad Dog? What day of the week? Can we come? I promise to laugh too loud!
Make sure that you come back and boast again when you have firm dates on your bro’s reading and Emma’s too.
BTW, I’m totally jealous about your entire list… I miss being on stage, and I’m sure my mom would love to date a retired man in Barbados!
creampuff how about yours? Perhaps we can get deadrobot to start a service. Deadrobot, does your mom have a “linda” too?

I’m not stage material yet, thanks. I still need to train myself to stop hogging the stage and stop mugging like an idiot. soon. I’ll let you know.
My mom. Sheesh. Years of playing the stocks with the divorce money has got her a (shudder) mink coat (“Its ok, Ted, these are farm mink,” she says) No Linda coat for her. At least I dont think so, she might put something on other than the mink to run to the corner store…

“… street level photographs of the area.”
    The WORLD, darling, the WORLD…
I’d like to give people the choice of where they don’t add pictures…

Okay, okay, okay — this time I’m actually trying! I can’t find the “upload” button on this 23hq.com to upload any of my miriad of 4Adam street shots. But you should see Ger’s face as I lean across him in street car to shoot every intersection we go throug…

Hey – thanks for asking … I’m directing a show. “Fundy Boy II: The Silver Screen”, written and performed by the fabulous Bill Merryweather. His first show, “Fundy Boy” was a hit and performed once in April last year, and back by popular demand in September 2005. Fundy Boy is back to tell us all about the films that have had stirred him, moved him, made him giggle or rant. Bill is an engaging and warm performer who will make you smile and think. We are both still getting lovely and thoughtful feedback from the first Fundy Boy … don’t miss the second! The poster is available at my blog. Friday April 29 and Saturday April 29 @ Buddies in Bad Times … be there … good times!
