Nuit Blanche, Jour Noir

The Night Boys
We went. We saw art. We took photos. We got rained on. We handed out buttons. We took the TPTPC. We discoed. We slipped in mud. We sipped espresso. We sat in door ways. We listened. We ate chocolate. We ran into cool people.

We stayed up late, so now we’re napping.  Don’t bug us.

Yes indeed I did. (he wanted the dumpling button)

I also ran into Jim Munroe, Susan Bustos, Carol Harrison, Lorna Mills (dude you need your very own blog), some drunk guy who kept telling me the “pool-thing sucked”, at least one tree when distracted taking photos and hundreds of thousands of other people wandering the streets and crowding around to see what everyone else was looking at.

Rohan – Submitted on https://unsweetened.ca/2006/10/nuit_blance_jou/#comment-1328 – I was at a friend’s birthday party till 1:30am, so got a very late start
on Nuit Blanche. Consequently I could have used a lot more time: 7am
arrived too quickly. And I didn’t make it to Zone A at all.
I made it through in one piece: at the “Ballroom” I got hit in the chin
by a ball that had been thrown or kicked, but nothing serious.
I’m really looking forward to future Toronto Nuits Blanches (assuming that this isn’t just a one-time thing).
