This $5.50 breakfast special from @FoodCabbie was more than I could eat for breakfast and I even got it without the refried beans. (it’s the Breakfast Special on the green paper below the menu, but I think it’s almost exactly the same as the Breakfast Burrito, just with homefries) Good solid breakfast food with a little spicy kick. I lucked out today for lunch. I was part of an Infest Wisely film shoot at le Petit Dejeuner. Johan invited us to join in on the staff meal and then he whipped up a great, simple pasta with beef, sausage and fresh tomatoes. My dining companions for both the staff meal and for the shoot were my ultra-swank friends Trollo and Rannie. We were having a great chat, until the director asked us to improvise a conversation, then we froze. But we hit stride again when it was time to be rude to the waitress. It was great fun.

Capture a new angle on something you see every day. deconstructed club The club is my usual diner lunch. It’s a dish that the kitchen generally carps and moans about making – fussing with 3 slices of bread laying and assembling. A deconstructed version makes things fast and easy. Well perhaps not when it’s served at the AGO. But how often do you see a sandwich from the inside?
