Bike – first round of customization done — Originally uploaded by LexnGer Picked up my new bike from the shop this morning. I took it into Cycle Solutions on Parliament which is good, close and employs our cousin Patrick, a great combination of features in a bike shop. I got a full tune up and new lock-on grips (which are is the best solution, and an island-hack, to getting a wider handlebar without replacing the stem).  Patrick also adjusted the seat and handle bar height. Next up: peel off the stickers and paint!

A leg snapped right off while I was bending it around my bike handle… you know like they show on Joby.com and the packaging where it’s wrapped around a rope or railing.
