In preparation for the next Chef’s #LoveCDNBeef series, Gerry and I visited Kensington Market yesterday to pick up some of the ingredients we needed to test the recipe. When we stopped for lunch, Gerry couldn’t resist hauling out the herbs again-and-again to taking big heady sniffs.

If the sidewalk had not been saturated this soap bubble would not have just sat there waiting for me. And it was waiting for me. Mike Busking For War Child
40 bands and artists across Toronto busked today to raise money for War Child. Our friend Mike was out with The Reason playing in the sunshine, so of course we took a little afternoon break from work and went over to listen and support.
Kingston Farmers Market
When I was home, Di & Deb picked me up early Saturday morning for a visit to the Kingston Farmers Market. What great fun we had visiting old friends like Clark & Sue and checking out the cool foods. As with most Farmers Markets this is evolving quickly into a place to go and eat as well as shop.
