Would You Pose With A Pickle?
A few years ago, inspired by my love of the Bick’s Pickle Alien, M.Tinto showed up on my birthday with a couple of bottles of Bick’s pickles that had fuzzy finger puppets on them. The finger puppets weren’t actually the alien, which generated a fair amount of conversation about the missed marketing opportunity, and a whole lot of rude comments about finger puppets. Infamous Sangria
You can thank my god-daughter Morgan** for this never-before shared Sangria recipe. She wanted Sangria for her birthday and I can’t say “no” to her. At least not about important life skills like knowing how to make Sangria. I have modified the recipe down from the traditional serving size of 1 Bucket, since Morgan doesn’t want a whole bucket of sangria for her birthday. Obviously I haven’t had enough influence on her. While the scaling down of the recipe has had some other subtle impacts on resulting Sangria, it is still damned tasty!
Society of the Public Pickle
Last night was The Society of the Public Pickle – a joint birthday party for Gerry & me involving beer, wings, friends and the now-tradition posing with the pickle. This is a collage of the slightly off, out of focus and generally drunken shots from the night. The rest of the photos will be up as soon as I finish tweaking them (since I had to go back to using my S5 since my Canon SLR is back in the shop – AGAIN!)
