Thanksgiving, Just Eat!

Thanksgiving, Just Eat!
Right before Thanksgiving weekend, Just-Eat.ca reached out to invite me to test their new Android app. “Why not?” I thought. I like apps, especially food and restaurant apps. Besides, we were planning on working all Thanksgiving weekend. Why not have a little fun playing with someone’s food app as a bit of a break?  “H [...]

I have selected the brightest, most vibrant of my photos in a collection called Potential @ Camaraderie  to reflect the vibrant folks who work in th [...]

What’s Up
He’s In MY Fridge Or more accurately, what’s not up. My laptop is misbehaving.  It won’t boot.  Luckily we’ve been able to remove the hard drive and successfully do a full backup of all my current files (including the CheapEats Ottawa database -phew!) However, the bl***ping thing still won’t successfully complet [...]

Food Writing (or #79 Say Cheese)

Food Writing (or #79 Say Cheese)
Sometimes the meal just isn’t pretty enough to photograph… so I start writing with my food. And with my condiments. But I still wish my food writing was as stylish as Dead Robot’s I guess I’d better leave the ketchup to him.  Taters are obviously my medium.

Jason Turner’s Cartoon Profile
As mentioned before, Jason Turner, the illustrator, did a profile of me in the current Broken Pencil. It’s out, it’s great and with his permission  I’ve posted this frame from the whole strip. It’s kind of odd seeing yourself in a cartoon strip.  Cool, but odd.  Especially when someone hits the mark as well as Jason di [...]
