Right before Thanksgiving weekend, Just-Eat.ca reached out to invite me to test their new Android app. “Why not?” I thought. I like apps, especially food and restaurant apps.
Besides, we were planning on working all Thanksgiving weekend. Why not have a little fun playing with someone’s food app as a bit of a break? “H [...]

Finally, I’ve got the photos from the reception up on Flickr and ready to share.
The folks at Camaraderie, Toronto’s newest co-working space, invited me to hang a collection on their walls. I have selected the brightest, most vibrant of my photos in a collection called Potential @ Camaraderie to reflect the vibrant folks who work in th [...]

Or more accurately, what’s not up.
My laptop is misbehaving. It won’t boot. Luckily we’ve been able to remove the hard drive and successfully do a full backup of all my current files (including the CheapEats Ottawa database -phew!) However, the bl***ping thing still won’t successfully complet [...]
Sometimes the meal just isn’t pretty enough to photograph… so I start writing with my food.

It’s kind of odd seeing yourself in a cartoon strip. Cool, but odd. Especially when someone hits the mark as well as Jason di [...]

As I wrestle with what Vox will be for me, I am leaning more and more to providing a consolodated view of my blogging here, here and elsewhere.
Like others, I would continue to do Vox-specific posts and the QotDs (when they aren’t too invasive), but the rest would primarily be an intro with a link to the full post on unsweeten [...]
