Wasted unsweetened_365

Wasted unsweetened_365

Given the overwhelming response to including my flickr photos in my RSS feed for unsweetened.ca, it seems that unsweetened_365 is redundant… and, well, kinda more effort than it’s worth to maintain since everything is going to Flickr anyway. So, kind readers, if you’ve been watching unsweetened_365 please redirect your RSS readers to: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Unsweetenedca and you will get unsweetened.ca posts, a selection of the photos I load daily to lexnger flickr photos and deli.cio.us links I bookmark. If you really don’t want me to do this – speak up now.

Help: 61000 Photos Need Tagging

Help: 61000 Photos Need Tagging

I need your advice.  With 61000+ photos I am, again, stuck between Picasa v2.0 and Adobe’s Photoshop Album v3.0 to process and organise all my shots from the silly to the sublime. Picasa – I love the ease of use of Picasa’s quick and easy photo editing – cropping, simple adjustments of  fill-light/shadow/highlight, tinting, collage making tools, sharpening, etc.  I hate Picasa’s lack of effective tagging and it’s categorization/indexing which requires you to move your photos to  specific folders for each category. Photoshop Album – I love Adobe’s quick and easy tagging – just drag and drop onto the photo; and…

I Won’t Post About My Pants

I Won’t Post About My Pants

I wrote a full, lengthy and ranty post about my pants, OCTranspo and rain.  But after revisiting it, I have come to the conclusion you guys don’t really want to read about me in the Glebe with my bum hanging out.  Photos that allow you to point and laugh, perhaps.  Descriptive text that runs on and on… not so much. So, I offer instead a photo essay of my last couple of days, up to what we will now refer to as "the pants incident".

Surprise Present or is that Past?

Surprise Present or is that Past?

Photos from FASS Sometimes your past comes back to haunt you. At our recent dinner party, Kerry showed up and handed me a stack of photos. It seems Jennifer was culling and found these photos from a past FASS show I did in university in 1989 – Another Damned FASS Show. Yup, that’s me in 1989. I played the Devil’s Executive Assistant. Almost everyone else in the cast got to play the Devil. Much like TV’s The Collector, the Devil changed bodies at least once per scene. But I got the cool red gloves, the short black dress and the…
