The Gap
The river is iced over on the Moss Glen side and open on the Rothesay/Quispamsis side. The boat is, of course, on the Moss Glen side of the island.
This is The Gap – between Long Island and Mather’s Island (or Moose Island as Dad is working to rename it.)
