We’re back…

After a long weekend on the island, and 4 days of transit time, we are back in TO and back to work.

Dad is in fine form and looking well.  I took enough photos of him to get the standard “people with cameras don’t have lives, they just have photos” comment… so I know he is feeling better.

The river was higher than I’ve ever seen it before.  Ladies Beach was gone including the path down to it, Porcher’s Swamp was part of the river, the point was not pointy, Long Beach – gone, The Gingersnap Cottage flooded, and the water was lapping at the steps of Porcher’s camp.

I’m still struggling with wanting to blog all the photos so people can comment on each one, but for now (and for expediency) I’m loading them into a “photo album”.
