Yesterday was…

Gerry’s B’day.
Gerry
After his mind-blowingly thoughtful and loving b’day blow-out for me, just 9 days ago, I had a hard act to follow.

I failed.

We celebrated Ger’s b’day by moving my computer into the living room so I could keep working, ordering in Indian from Ruchi (Butter Chicken & Rogan Josh) and watching Star Wars III – Revenge of the Sith. I feel asleep during a fight/chase scene. Gerry put me to bed.  I have a lovely man!

In my defense, which I sorely need, he wouldn’t let me organise anything because he knew we’d be under some serious time pressure. But still. I suck.

Luckily, his parents are coming up this weekend to treat him right.

I don’t think YOU get to decide if my birthday was a success or not.
In fact, one of the only things i cared about was in place for my birthday, thanks to my lexa.
True, we didn’t get out to Segovia for Paella, but we can do that later.
    As for the presents….
