The Apprentice Blog – Season 5

Yes, in the midst of all this craziness, Season 5 of the Apprentice launched last night.  When I checked my email this morning I already had over 8000 ApprenticeBlog readers, including one asking why I hadn’t published my opinions of the first episode… it had been 12 hours already and he was waiting.

Some days I wonder exactly how I get myself into these situations… and then I remember – "oh yes, I’m a complete nutbar!"

Off to continue building those press kits (Yes, Miss Carol even I leave my press kits to the absolute last minute, and pray my printer doesn’t give out. Mine won’t be nearly as pretty as yours were ;->)

Oh. My. God! You could have so much fun with this!
“I think that Donald Trumpe showed much restraint in not leaping across the boardroom table and licking the eyes of poor Tarek (What kind of name is Tarek, anyway? Son of Trekkies?).”
    or
“Bring back Amarosa! She brought much ballyhoo to the mix!”
    or even
“I loved George Hamilton’s dance number!”

The weird thing is I actually end up talking to some of the candidates… I got a phone call from one of them 2 seasons ago
“Hi, this is Angie, and I too late to answer your questions?”
“Ah, Angie? Angie?”, in the same tone Bugs used when he said “Hansel? Hansel?”, “OH! Gee, I sent that email 2 months ago… so kinda ‘yes’. But thanks anyway.”
But it was the catalist for me starting to blog, thus “theapprenticeblog.com/postcards” not something witty and mysterious like deadrobot.com
re: Tarek – hard to believe someone would name a kid after a Cardassian space station… but hey, the fact that we caught the reference is geeky enough, so I’ll shut up now.
