Shooting The In Laws

It’s One of a Kind Time again, which means the In Laws are in town selling wooden toys at the CNE.

Last year I went down to visit them (aka Thorpe Toys) and ended up doing an impromptu photo shoot of their toys for their online store ThorpeToys.com.

However, even with an exhibitor badge around my neck, I had 3 people tell me that only the press were allowed to take photos, to protect the crafters. I repeat, with an exhibitor badge around my neck!

Yup, you aren’t supposed to take photos of your own products at the One of a Kind Show… weird eh? Especially when the lighting in the rest areas makes it PERFECT to do a little impromptu photo shoot. (and a little too bright to “rest”)

So on Sunday I’m packing up my camera, and all my memory cards, to go shoot the in laws.
