Creampuff & The Bear

lies that bindWoo Hoo! No drama today. Well, none off-stage anyway.

I finally made it to Chris & Creampuff’s Fringe Show Lies That Bind at the Factory Theatre.

It was a fun frolic in family dysfunction. An awakening for anyone who is or has a storyteller, or twelve, in their family. My favourite bit was Ursula’s rant being abandoned in the woods.

Projectors? We don’t need no sticking projectors.

I was impressed by the number of people that showed up for a Friday 1:30pm performance.  Who knew that many people were out and cruising the Fringe mid-day?

I was even given 2 tickets for tonight’s performance of (W)hole of Emily Scheller, which we couldn’t attend but happily handed off to one of Ger’s coworkers.

Lex! That picture! Hilarious. Thank you so much for coming, for your feedback and for your treats!! Delightful, delightful treats. I’m still trying to figure out how to eat the lemon tart all on my own. Mmm . . . tarts. You’re the best!!

So glad you like it and the treats. I really was going for the donut bouquet… but again I was foiled. Now, I don’t want you thinking I wasn’t paying attention to the fine performances on stage. It’s just that Hugo was sitting on your lap staring right at me. His eyes begging me to haul out my camera… what could I do? I really was listening, honest!
