Hunh.
So, I phoned Purolator about that delivery last night.
“oh, I see this package has been out twice for delivery, I can’t guarantee they’ll send it out again.”
Yes. Seriously. He said that to me. I won’t go into what I said to him.
This morning, I checked their online tracking system to confirmed it was coming. It was loaded onto a truck at 7:24am. So I put a note on the door “RING buzzer LONG and HARD. I’m here.”
And waited.
Gotta say, I love these tracking systems. They gave me something to watch… like a stock ticker…. while I waited. And posted. and waited. All morning.
No package.
I checked the tracking system at 1pm and it said it was still on it’s way.
At 1pm, Canada Post was still telling me Package #2, (I told you about that one, didn’t I?) was still in the Kitchener sorting plant. Don’t get me rolling on that one.
Then, I hear this gentle buzzing sound. Leap up. Look out the window at the Purolator truck. Sprint across the office, down the hall, around the corner and to the buzzer (yes, it’s a long way.)
Phew – my package!
And a letter from the Consumer Research Panel with a $5 bill in it.
Can you say Beer Ticket?
