QotD: My Musical Horoscope

My Vox got highlighted today!!!  So, I figure I’m morally obliged to play the QotD.  Luckily this one doesn’t trigger any of my QotD paranoia at all.  Though I am wondering what you guys will think after you read the mix…

What’s your musical horoscope?  (Put your music player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.)  Inspired by Stephanie.

Hogging the iPod

  1. Hyperactive – Thomas Dolby
  2. You Are So Beautiful  – Joe Cocker
  3. Brown Eyed Girl – Van Morrison
  4. I’m No Angel – Dido
  5. What Makes the Monkey Dance – Chuck Prophet
  6. Love Will Tear Us Apart – Eloisia
  7. Squeeze Toy – Boomtang Boys
  8. Afroman
  9. Miss You (Terry Todd Remix) – Everything But The Girl
  10. When You Get To Know Me Better – Prefab Sprout

Have I mentioned how much I love my new shuffle?  Even when the Travel Bunny hogs it!

Oh great. Now I have Thomas Dolby in my head. You could have at least done “Blinded me with Science.” I’m now singing over and over ”
It isn’t any rapattack.” I wonder if anyone will ever sing a Thomas Dolby song on American Idol. The lucky 8-ball says “NO!”

I’m fairly sure you got that lyric wrong.  He’s singing “it isn’t in your appetite”.

Oddly, I have no feelings of guilt or remorse that I have stuck a tune
in your head.  What is it they say about retribution again?
