QotD: Right Before I Doze Off

I’m a reader, much to my honey’s chagrin.

What’s the last thing you usually do or think about before you fall asleep?

I lie in bed and read, sometimes for less than a sentence, sometime for hours. Then of course, I fall asleep and am unable to turn off my light.  16 years and we still haven’t found a solution that lets me fall asleep but doesn’t keep Gerry up.
