#78 Go Multimedia

Right-y-right then, multimedia.  Here are a couple of my Junkii inspired videos:

Pop! — This was my first ever attempt at video.  Taken at the Galleria in North York after attempting to photograph the rice cakes being turned from rice to cake with a *POP*.  Junkii suggested I push the little record button instead.  This is the result.  (if you turn on the sound you can hear me too.)

Making of a Chicken Tikka Wrap  — This second one is taken at Shafali Indian Bazaar in the Byward Market building.  Their Chicken Tikka Wrap is one of my “must have”s when I’m in Ottawa.  They take a fresh naan straight out of the tandoor and wrap it around Chicken Tikka, shredded lettuce and heaven sauce.  They don’t call it that… but I do.

Tiny Tom’s Donuts — Third you may already have seen, it’s the Tiny Tom’s donut machine at the CNE popping out little bits of donuty goodness. At the end of the process the hot tasty rings are scooped up into a small bag sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon sugar and shaken until they are coated. There are days when I think the movie Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle should have been Lex & Ger Go To Tiny Tom’s.

And finally, last night’s dinner. (Yes I do eat dinner too).  We went to Jadeland in Ottawa’s Chinatown for the Taro-Stuffed Duck.  This little addition to my YouTube account is a video of Junkii artfully pouring on the sauce for even distribution of all the flavourful goodness… and goodness it was!  I have certainly dined well this trip thanks to the CheapEats Ottawa team!!

Yes, I hear it’s the best part of the rice cake video. Sometimes I’m such a girl.
