Perhaps I’ll have to hit Active Surplus and whip some up for this year’s Festival of Lights – think a participatory, community-based, mini Nuit Blanche with a huge burning man at the end. By far my favourite event in the city held on  December 21st in Kensington Market.

Bring a drum and a light to bring the light to the longest night of the year, then join us at House of Gourmet for BBQ Pork and Singapoure Noodles. (pg.80)   Not to be missed!

    [this is good] I have just received an e-mail about the planned event from NewMindSpace and if it is a bit warmer tomorrow I may venture out to check it out. It sounds like fun.
