The Green Challenge

Chive FlowerFor the last 5 days, I’ve gotten a daily email tip from Canadian Living’s Green Challenge on how to live a little greener. Not a lot. Just a little.  But add up 30 little ways to make my life more eco-friendly, and multiply that by the number of people who are reading… and bing bang boom, we’re making a difference.

Green Challenge Tips like:

Then you simply respond to the challenge with:

· I already do this

Did you know that boiling 4.5 litres of water in a covered pot uses four times less energy than boiling without a lid. Actually, it also means your water boils noticeably faster too.

You can sign up and get these eco-friendly tips in your inbox too, just sign up at .

[I am not afflicted w/ CanadianLiving.com in any way, I don’t even get their magazine, and sadly, they haven’t sent me any free stuff… but I keep hoping.]
