The Best Swag Yet!
I love my new garnet earrings!!! BTW – Garnet is my birthstone and I rarely get new jewelry, if you’re wondering why I’m so jazzed by a silly pair of earrings.
The Shopping Channel was one of the sponsors of the DMC this year. That meant that every attendee came in to find a $20 gift card at their seat. While I’d flicked past them on the TV, I’d never actually purchased anything from them before, but since my gift card expired at the end of December, I figured it would be wasteful not to use it.
I found a pair of garnet earrings for $9.99 (and got something for dad for Xmas with the rest more on that later).
The earrings arrived less than 48 hours later, and they ROCK!
I have always wanted a pair just like these. In fact, I almost bought a pair for $100 at Birks. Instead I waited… and I’m glad I did, cuz these were free and perfect.
