Down With Trousers, Up With Kilts
I was reminded, and embarrassing it was, that today is Robert Burns Day.
I am shocked and horrified that I have spent most of the day thinking about work, when I really should have been thinking about Men in Kilts!
For on Burns Day, any woman with even a wee dram of Scots in her blood, whether she be a comely young maiden or a withered old hag, will have a glint in her eye at the thought of a man in a kilt.
So, happy Burns Day to you all!
May your cup be filled with whisky, your plate with haggis and your men in kilts.
and in the words of Spirit of the West
“…the thistle and the maple leaf are the emblems of the free.
Oh there’s none more Scots than the Scots abroad,
there’s a place in our hearts for the old sod.
Oh there’s none more Scots than the Scots abroad,
there’s a place in our hearts for the old sod.“
(totally cloned from f*book)
LOL, the tragedy continues – I had to be reminded that today was Burns Day BY AN ENGLISH!
I intend to have a dram or four tonight, bells on.
Oh, and please send me four of the picture – don’t bother to wrap em
