New Fashion Accessory

While visiting mom for March Break, I picked up a new . Not because I needed a replacement, but because sucked me in with the great appeal of a minor enhancement – the clip.

I regularly drop my old iPod Shuffle and the idea of being able to clip it to me, so it wouldn’t fly across the room when I took off my sweater, was very exciting. So when the price was right – boom – new colour-coordinated Shuffle For Lexa.

Interesting Apple US lists the 1G @ $49, 2G @ $69; Apple Canada adds $6 -> $55 & $75. But is selling them at US prices.

Shuffle Up Your iPod Baby.Oddly enough, the clip I’ve been waiting for is less advantageous than I expected.  It’s a much stronger clip than I expected and it leaves marks on soft fabric… like my pleather coat. And as always, the earbud’s wire is stiff, sticks out everywhere and catches on stuff. Though clipping onto an inside jacket pocket works great.

All in all, I’m pleased.

Dear Apple, I want my next shuffle in earring version, please.

    The next iPod Shuffle will be a pill. You cough to advance tracks.

    heh.
    I wear mine clipped to the bottom hem of my hoodie/t-shirt/workout top. I kinda hate the ear buds that came with it. They hurt my ears! Do you find them comfortable?

    Mondo – gotta get that hair out of the way some how.
    Dead Robot – Funny! And like in Jim Munroe‘s movie, you’d blink to take photos.
    Thinking about how they’d encourage upgrades is a little creepy though.
    andrea – I like the ear buds. I find them very comfortable but that wiring is so stiff they still get knocked out of my ears regularly.
