Make Hunger History

As many of you know, I am on the Steering Committee for ’s which is happening this Sunday at the ROM.   Not to be confused with all the “Taste of…” events around Toronto and elsewhere, Toronto Taste is a gourmet fundraiser for .Second Harvest Banner - Make hungry history.

Now celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary, brings together top chefs and vintners from across the region along with a massive team of volunteers to let you taste, drink and enjoy a Sunday evening making a difference by helping Second Harvest.

Every day Second Harvest picks up excess fresh food that would otherwise go to waste, and delivers it to approximately 250 social service programs in the GTA.

Toronto Taste Tickets are $250, and by buying a ticket you are helping Second Harvest provide 250 meals to those in need.

So really, you are feeding 250 people and yourself. All at the same time as attending one of Toronto’s premier food events with:

    • 60 of the city’s top chefs serving samples of the best and most interesting food their kitchens can think of.
    • 25 beverage sponsors serving up a great selection wines, beers and cocktails.
    • Wine Auction – and it’s a serious selection of bottles where wine collectors can find some gems!
    • Silent Auction for thousands of dollars worth of prizes
    • Live Auction hosted by Bob Blumer and Kevin Brosh including experiences with Bob, Kevin, and Chefs Chris MacDonald from Cava and Michael Smith from The Inn at Bay Fortune. And more.
