Prayer Flags

As I was scanning my flickr archives for today's photo I found this one of Gerry's prayer flags on our deck.

I'm not really a fan of religious trappings or parafanalia around my home, but there is something about Tibetan prayer flags that I find beautiful! I do wonder sometimes if I'd feel the same if I could actually read the parables, teachings or prayers that cover them, but since I can't I'm not going to invest much energy in fretting about it.

Gerry tells me that this weekend is a special and important weekend where all you do returns to you a thousandfold karmicly. So be extra nice to old ladies, kiss a baby or two and refrain from cursing at politicians. At least for the weekend.
