Want To Be A Taster?
I’m a Taster – I like my flavours fresh and full, clean and pure, and layered and evocative.
I’m not alone. Marc Thuet and Mark McEwan are Tasters. Dufflet Rosenberg is a Taster. Rob Gentile is a Taster. Chris McDonald and Bob Blumer are Tasters. Andrea Nicholson & Ester Benaim are Tasters. And Roger Mooking is a Taster too.
You can be a Taster by joining us at Second Harvest’s Toronto Taste this Sunday, June 12th, at the ROM. Indulge your senses in a gastronomic adventure showcasing 60 of Toronto’s top chefs and 30 beverage purveyors, all in support of Second Harvest.
Second Harvest is a charitable organization that takes a common-sense approach to hunger. They pick up donated perishable food, which would otherwise have gone to waste, and deliver that food to over 200 social service agencies in Toronto.
Last year, Second Harvest delivered more than 6.4 million pounds of food to feed those who are hungry in our city.
Proceeds raised through Toronto Taste support Second Harvest’s direct delivery program, delivering enough fresh food to provide more than 16,000 meals every day to those who are hungry.
As many of you already know, I’m on the Steering Committee for Second Harvest’s Toronto Taste and will be spending Sunday June 12th at the ROM manning the social media station.
Tickets are $250 per person, with a $125 tax receipt. You can get a block of 10 tickets for $2250. Buy your tickets here
You can also support Second Harvest through the Online Auction and Raffle, or at Toronto Taste through the Fine Wine Auction, Silent Auction and Live Auction hosted by Bob Blumer.
