2 Years – a lifetime or an instant?

I’ve been going through some old photos today and found this one

It's going to get silly round here!

This is the wine I purchased for the dinner I won from Matt in November 2009.  If you read the stickies you’ll see what is for the dinner and what is for later, and what I was “supposed” to put back.

But it’s the not volume of wine in this shot that gets me, it’s that it was taken in November 2009.  Just barely 2 years ago. When I had just met Matt.

Just met him 2 years ago and since then we’ve become friends, built a kick-ass supper club, taken over countless venues, fed a lot of people,  consumed countless bottles of wine,  gotten some great press (okay mainly Matt but still), eaten some amazing food, took over a grocery store, stayed friends and are about to launch something new and exciting together which I’m bursting at the seams to tell you about… but I have to wait a couple more days.

It just surprising to realize we’ve only known each other 2 years. Time is a funny thing.
