I’m Speaking at the Food Bloggers of Canada Conference

I’m excited to announce that I am one of the speakers at this weekend’s Food Bloggers of Canada Conference, Canada’s first dedicated food blogging conference.

I will be speaking about restaurants, blogging and critiques in:

The Chef & The Critic – 2 Perspectives on Restaurants and Blogging

Alexa Clark and Jason Bangerter. Moderated by Alison Fryer of The Cookbook Store

In this panel, moderated by Alison Fryer of The Cookbook Store,  Chef Jason Bangerter of Oliver & Bonacini’s Luma Restaurant and Alexa Clark of CheapEats and unsweetened.ca will discuss and debate the pros and cons of bloggers and restaurants working together, the effects of social media on the restaurant scene and the evolution of food critiquing.

In addition to our session, there will be sessions on Recipe Development, Food Photography, Future Trends, and Bookkeeping for Canadian Bloggers. Tickets have been sold out for but you can get on the waiting list

We are speaking at 10:15am on Saturday morning, so we’ll be bright and chipper. Assuming of course Friday night’s  KitchenAid Night at the Movies keeps it’s promise and wraps up at midnight.

Should be a great weekend!  Oh, and as a bonus, my buddies at Canadian Beef are presenting sponsors.

If you are coming, drop me a comment below and say Hi.

Awesome. Won’t be there, but wish I would be! Any chance these things will be recorded and put on YouTube, like TED talks, or, yannow, some blog?
    Cheers.

PatAnderson Thanks Pat!  I’m not sure if the conference sessions will be recorded or live streamed. Mardi aka  eatlivetravwrite would know. I’ll see if I can find out and let you know.
