Today’s #TBT is from 2005. My last day on the island before crossing the river ice and coming back to the hustle and bustle of city life. With everything that was going on at the time it was a hard time to be alone and unable to leave the island.
At the same time, it was an incredible experience and every winter since I have missed the serenity of that time on the island and the beauty I experienced watching the ice form.
Every time the snow begins to fall, I seriously consider abandoning the city, going home and spending the make up on the island again.
