1 Second Everyday Trial Run

I’ve found a new app that’s going to occupy too much of my brain for a while – 1 Second Everyday.  It’s a compilation app compiling 1 second of video from everyday into a single video like this one below which is a second from every day I shot video from December to May.  (well, actually the video recorded on my phone only.)
If you shoot a lot of video, which I generally don’t, it might be a challenge to select that 1 second to represent your day. However, I found the app made it pretty simple to select a second. And I think once you get used to it, it becomes easier and easier to select the exact second you want.

I found out about the app through the movie Chef, which in itself is an interest piece of content marketing, or is that product placement, or is that both?

That said, it’s a compelling idea that I’m starting to play with with a couple of different projects.  Not really life-streaming but more situational shooting.   Since my phone occasionally shifts into video by mistake when I’m taking a photos, there may be some interesting seconds to chose from.
