First fire on my new Big Green Egg

I just had to share the first fire on my new Big Green Egg!
So hot, so lovely, so ready to cook!!!
Seriously, it went from unused BGE with fresh charcoal to 400 degrees in 7 minutes.
7 MINUTES!

I had to slow it down because it’s best to keep your first two cooks on a Big Green Egg to 350 degrees or under. It’s better to ensure the gaskets fit properly.
