Broker’s London Dry Gin

Recently while picking up a bottle of wine at the Summerhill LCBO I ran into this guy doing a sampling of my favourite London dry-style gin: Broker’s Gin.

Turns out it was Andy Dawson. Andy and his brother Martin are the founders and produce Broker’s just outside of London

I discovered Broker’s while designing a cocktail, La Mugnaia, for the Spring Pickle at Secret Pickle Supper Club.

Inspired by the Battle of the Oranges in Ivrea Italy where the miller’s daughter, La Mugnaia, started a revolution.

The cocktail was a hit and the gin became an instant favourite and the house gin at the Secret Pickles.

I like the traditional flavours, complex aromatics and the cute little bowler hats.

Broker's Gin - World's Best Gin

I affectionately refer to Broker’s as: the gin that tastes like getting drunk and making out with highschool boys.

So when I had the chance to meet Andy Dawson, I rushed over and gushed. (I didn’t tell him that last bit.)

We sampled, we chatted, I purchased a bottle and got it signed.

My love affair with gin continues.
