Most Popular Recipes
While unsweetened.ca didn’t start out as a recipe site, it certainly has become part of what makes the site tick, and I’ve realized that what we need now is a round up of the most popular recipes. Especially after getting a request from the next generation for some family recipes, it seemed like the perfect time to share some of the best recipes I’ve shared over the years.

These are the most popular recipes developed by Alexa Clark for unsweetened.ca. This is an ever-evolving list, but usually includes homestyle cooking inspired by daily life and Alexa's background split between living in downtown urban settings cooking with all the latest tools and gadgets, and off-the-grid cooking where she's cooking over open wood fires or on wood or propane stoves.
Let us know which recipes you love by leaving a comment or rating the recipes you've tried. If you share photos on social please stage with #unsweetenedCaRecipe
As regular readers will know, I have also been lucky to work with great Canadian Chefs to share their recipes here on unsweetened.ca. Many of these recipes have become family staples, and we know readers who come back for the most popular recipes regularly for special meals and holidays.
So I’ve broken those popular recipes by Chefs out into their own list.

One of the great things I've been able to over the years is work with wonderful world-class Chefs here on unsweetened.ca, through judging and in my work with Second Harvest's Toronto Taste.
While I love sharing my recipes and family recipes, I love sharing recipes from professional Chefs adjusted for the home kitchen. Seeing ingredients, flavours and techniques through professional eyes can bring a brand new spark to your everyday meals (mine too!). And that is exciting!
Most Popular Drink Recipes
I will revise this list to ensure it is up to date as I add more recipes and with shifting times. It’s amazing to see which recipes get attention at different times and as culinary trends shift and changes. (unsweetened.ca has been around long enough that those changes and shifts really do show up in our stats.)
In the meantime, I’d love to hear about which recipes you like most, which you’ve tried and which inspire you to think about trying them in your own kitchens.
