What’s On The BBQ

Alexa and Bill join forces to create new and recreate old barbecue dishes and show you what’s on the barbecue with each episode.

Bill and Alexa have been building fires together for over 30 years when they met in university. Their first BBQ was made out of concrete blocks, the rack out of their oven, and foraged wood from the small copse of trees behind their residence. They saved beer bottles, invested in a $12 hibachi, and never looked back.

With each upgrade and each new feature, they got more adventurous.  Now they are sharing their smoking, grilling and barbecuing adventures with you here.

Occasionally joined by their diners, sometimes introducing guest Vannas (more on that later) and frequently featuring a beverage in hand, Bill and Alexa have way too much fun when they are playing with fire. We figure BBQ is serious, we don’t have to be.

Take a moment and see Whats On the BBQ.  We’d love to hear your feedback (Keep it up upbeat, we don’t need those kinds of flames since we want it playful around here.)

We’re still deciding what to post, so let us know if you’d like the recipes (or to hear more about the beer, wine and cocktails we are sipping.)

You might even get inspired to turn up the gas or stoke the coals and make something over the flames yourself. We sure hope so.
