Tools? I’m a tool.

Pluck doesn’t seem to like my Firefox and I have lost all my RSS feeds.

what's in your web2.0 toolboxRather than rebuilding them in an obviously wonky tool with a low CSR factor, I want to ask “what reader are you using?” But then I thought… “why stop there?”

You know you want to brag about finding the coolest tools, the funkiest
freebies and the slickest services out there… well now’s the time to

You are going to hoot. I am practically a luddite.

What RSS Reader are you using?
    – Bloglines. It has totally changed me.
What is your favourite Web2.0 tool or service?
    – Google Maps. My lord. How did we ever get along without step-by-step driving instructions?
How do you blog what you blog?
    – (a) MT v.2. I know. I should upgrade, but I’m a big fat chicken. The thought of spending 6 hours troubleshooting is making my eye twitch. (b) What do I blog? Ha. Ever seen that Seinfeld episode in which Jerry and George are producing a show about nothing? That’s my blog.
What tool do you spend most of your time with?
    – Bloglines. MT.
How do you play with your photos?
    – Photoshop.
What is the most productive tool you use?
    – pen and notebook. Seriously.
Where do you build your play lists?
    – iTunes mostly.
Do you have an online Calendar?
    – No. And I should.
    Where do you WIKI?
    – Beg pardon?
Land line, cell phone or skype?
    – Land, and that includes payphones. I refuse to own a cell. No one ever needs to talk to me that desperately. The reverse is also true.
    How do you share files?
    – U-sendit. FTP.
What device is always with you?
    – see above “productive tool” question. I have also been known to carry a camera.
    Bookmarks go where?
    – In my books? OH I SEE WHAT YOU MEAN. “Bookmarks” are filed in my “Favourites”
What is your favourite free tool?
    – It’s a tossup. The online catalogue for my local library. The online booking function of Ontario Parks. THIS IS WHY THE INTERNET WAS BORN PEOPLE!
What tool/service would you use if it were free?
    – Infomart
What tool/service are you happy to pay for?
    – I don’t have Flickr Pro, but if I did I would be happy to pay for it.* I need it.
*what a great birthday present idea for me!
You have $100K to invest in a Web2.0 company, who would you give it to?
    – Aw geez. I don’t know! My brain hurts. Are we done yet? 🙂
